Luggage Tags - silly question

We haven't sailed with NCL in a while, is it an issue of the luggage tags are printed in black and white and not in color? I don't want to get to the port on day 1 and fine out  we have an issue.

It is the ship. One time I actually colored my tags after I printed them out at home with markers. 🙄

Nope. The color is associated with the ship. So, ever luggage tag is the same color. So B/W is fine. 
 

Adding to above, Encore is Dark Blue (so they print black ink on a dark blue background… good luck getting your bags). K

We're on the Joy in a few days, in an S category non-Haven "suite". NCL mailed us luggage tags a few weeks ago, thick adhesive peel-off stickers which I assume are the type made to wrap around the luggage handle, and they are narrower than the "normal" tags.  They are also marked "priority".  When I download our luggage tags off the NCL website, they are a different color, not marked priority and are the normal wide format tags.

RE: Luggage Tags.

I am now slightly concerned, where/when do I receive these tags?

I checked in online on the NCL website over a week ago and I downloaded my eDocs, but I do not see anything relating to luggage?

On our last sailing, we got upgraded to Haven from Club Suite within 2 weeks of sailing.
Called concierge regarding new luggage tags.

Found out that they have outside company do the luggage tags. Any changes or new reservation made within 30 days of sailing…..

no new luggage tags issued. Company needs 5 weeks lead time. 
We had tags for old cabin sent by mail .

Printed new cabin number tags at home and used those.

Most important info on tags is Deck # and cabin #.

On your edocs, in the "At the Pier" section there will be an icon that says "print luggage tags here"

I tried that clickable link, but it just redirects me back to the landing page of NCL.com

You'll have to call technical support.  Or wait till you get to the pier (not recommended)

Pre-pandemic, luggage tags were sent to suites guests only  

 

During restart, NCL was sent to all passengers to increase the speed of luggage drop off and maximize social distancing (Minimized need to interact with port workers/porters to create a tag). 
 

Luggage tags have always been include with your eDocs.

Well with the chat Agents offline..

I just tried an F12 on the web page to look at the HTML code for the link, it looks like bad syntax with the 'on click' function by whoever coded it.

I copied the string to a new window and it produced my Maroon luggage tags!

They'd be listed in the "AT THE PIER" section, under "STATEROOM".  There's a silhouette of a suitcase and a link to print the tags.  You don't have that in your e-docs?

Don't worry about luggage tag colours or even not having any.  You can show up at the port with no tags and the porters will make you some on the spot when you drop off your luggage.  It's really not an issue.
