No-one will be able to get those until the first cruises start here as our drinks menus are in AUD, don't have gratuities added to the listed price, and often differ slightly to the US ones especially the wine lists.

This thread has most of the drinks lists from 2019. I actually don't expect the prices will change by much. Even if they do the 2019 prices will give you a starting point for your planning.

Great thanks for that info.

Just trying to confirm my budget estimates.

Like to ensure no nasty surprises in major changes since 2018.

Always budget on the high side. There might be one night where you want two glasses of wine with dinner instead of one, or a more expensive bottle of wine than normal. Even though we have the Plus package on all the cruises we have booked I always allow for the occasion bottle purchase (at 25% discount) as there are a couple of wines we're quite fond of that aren't available by the glass.

Thanks, yes that's why I'm trying to get on top of what's current now, to ensure my assumptions are in the right ball park.

By that way just been through your up load of drinks menu's for 2019.

That was some magnificent work on your behalf.🤩

must have taken a lot of your time, I'm sure everyone that reads it is extremely grateful.

I am, Thank you.

No worries. I had to wait until port stops to upload the photos as the free Platinum internet minutes weren't enough to do all that. As you can see the wine list is quite big these days, as is the Crooners drinks list.

I also found it really useful having the wine list photos on my phone, especially if we wanted to order more wine part way through a meal.

That was the down side of the old internet, it was only suitable for basic stuff. The new system will be a big improvement in that regard.

Good idea with the drinks menu on the phone, will pinch that one.😄

I actually started doing that on the cruise before, which was on Celebrity Solstice. You go a Classic drinks package as a perk but we upgraded to the Premium package. One our sommelier knew that he would only give us the Premium wine list but there were a couple of wines on the other list that we liked so I got ahold of it and took a photo.

Necessity is the genesis of all good inventions.😆

I’m looking to pre-order the New Grounds Coffee Package, but it doesn’t appear where it should in the Cruise Personaliser under Onboard Services>Beverage Packages. All that appears are the two beverage packages, which I don’t want. According to the description of the coffee package below, it is available up to four days before the cruise. Anyone had success in finding where to order it?

New Grounds Coffee Package

Terms & Conditions

What is Included

  • The package includes the pre-purchase of a specified number of specialty coffees (numbers vary by itinerary) during the voyage of purchase, as well as complimentary brewed coffee and hot chocolate.
  • Guests may redeem the number of specialty coffees purchased in the package in locations where espresso is available. This will include select bar and dining areas and varies by ship and/or itinerary.
  • Selections and service are limited to that venue’s menu offerings and operating hours.

Package Details and Qualifications

  • The package may be pre-purchased up to 4 days prior to boarding the vessel.
  • The package is NOT available for pre-purchase within 3 days of sailing.
  • The coffee package is valid only on the voyage for which it is purchased. If the maximum number of coffees pre-purchased are not used during the voyage, the remaining value will NOT be credited or refunded and is NOT transferable for any purpose.
  • Coffee packages cannot be sold or otherwise transferred to any individual. Pre-purchased specialty coffees may be shared, but complimentary brewed coffee, teas and hot chocolate continue to be limited to the purchaser.

Exclusions and Limitations

  • Does NOT apply to bottled or ready to drink items such as canned coffee items etc.
  • CANNOT be redeemed when ordering Room Service or for Mini Bar items.

Terms and Conditions

  • Princess Cruises may modify, amend or update these terms and conditions of our beverage packages / offers at any time with or without notice to guests. The terms and conditions as published on princess.com on the date of sailing will apply, in addition to the terms and conditions of the passage contract.
  • Not all exclusions or limitations can be foreseen or published here and may exist or be implemented with or without notice.
  • Pricing is subject to change without notice, and for vessels designated in a foreign currency (Australia as an example), packages purchased in advance may vary from onboard pricing due to timing and currency fluctuations. Guests will NOT incur additional charges, nor be issued any credits or refunds for such currency variances.
  • By purchasing a coffee package, you agree to these and all future terms and conditions.

I was on princess live chat line the other day and asked. I was told it was $35? even for the 3/4 day cruises and as it wasnt transferrable it would probably be cheaper to just buy individually.

It was $36 for 15 coffees in 2019, which works out at $2.40 a coffee. Lattes were $3.50, or $4.50 for a large one. So you'd save after 11 regular lattes or 8 large lattes. Short blacks were $2.75 so you effectively had to use all the coffees to get value, however we never only got just the 15 coffees per package on that cruise, usually we got more, 18 to 23.

You can share the coffee package since it operates on a count rather than daily usage.

Yes, thanks OzKiwiJJ, that is what we paid on the Ruby in Jan 2020 too. I was hoping we could order the package pre-cruise as we usually hit the IC as soon as we board for a relaxing cappuccino to start our cruise ☺️. I imagine waiters and others will be under the pump handling medallion queries etc 🤯 Like you, we usually go through more than one card; probably two on this seven day cruise

Depends if I can do 15 in 3 days! Not that caffeine affects me lol
