Excursion Tipping

What should be a fair tip for a $60 excursion with a narrator on a Boston to Canada cruise?

I'm cheap, so take this with a grain of salt. If it were my wife and I, I would tip $10 for the two of us.

Group or private tour? If a big bus group,  $5 is fine. Private? Probably $15. JMHO.

Should the bus driver also get a tip? Thanks in advance for any answers.

I usually give the driver half of what I give the tour guide. I mostly do independent tours.

Almost all tours I’ve been on, the tour guide and bus driver pool the tips and then split them. Also I’ve actually seen them counting the $$ and splitting after other tour buses were lined up at the end of tours.

If the tour guide was good, $5 pp, if no good, nothing.
