Tauck Danube River Cruise

This fall we have a Tauck river cruise planned.  Sport coat and tie are advised for gentlemen for a dinner or two.

DH would prefer to get by with just a dress shirt and tie…a coat adds over two pounds to our luggage.

Could  someone  who has done the “Blue Daube” cruise please advise me as to what the fellows actually wore?

Hi, I have taken 2 river cruises but none on TAUCK.........all I can tell you is in my experience, men don't need jackets for dinner..........river cruises are very casual.  But I do agree with the River Cruise forum suggestion.....post the question over there and I bet someone who has sailed on Tauck can give you a first hand answer.
