3Shelaghs Posted July 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Awhile back you could pay extra $$ to stay later onboard at disembarkation. Do they still have this package??
emmas gran Posted July 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2022 I don’t think they’re doing this at the moment due to COVID and cleaning of rooms etc
Rare DCPIV Posted July 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2022 No, they don't. Typically, you have to get off no later than 9 AM. Maybe it'll come back someday, but it's not there now.

Rare Jim_Iain Posted July 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2022 They discontinued because of Covid. Usually last call is 9:30 and then they begin processing B2B's who then have free reign of the ship until General Boarding begins around

We're on back-to-backs on January Beyond and very happy to know we won't have to get off the ship.

Local authorities may require you to disembark for document processing

Have always had to get off the ship on B2B for about 10 or so minutes and go ashore and show passports I believe. Haven't done B2B recently so maybe things have changed. We would then get back on board and be issued a new card. Could keep the old one but it was deactivated.

Rare cruisestitch Posted July 25, 2022 #11 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Fort Lauderdale and other US ports usually require you to disembark for a few minutes as you described. Sometimes non-US ports allow you to stay on board when you’re a back to back passenger.

If so it is only for about 10-15 minutes. We have had to clear customs in the terminal in Port Everglades while in San Diego, Southampton and Yokohama they did it on the ship.
