Labadee negative Covid test required?

I also asked this on the Private Islands board, but it gets very little traffic, so my apologies for double-posting ...

 

With RC dropping the testing requirements for shorter cruises, what will happen with Labadee? I had heard that Haiti requires a negative test before disembarking. Is this true? Even with Labadee being an RC property? Not sure what to expect for my upcoming cruise (5-nighter departing on August 8, Labadee and Coco Cay).

It's a private "island". RC isn't going to make people test to go there and Haiti has no leverage to require it.

I'd hate to get there and be unable to disembark based on a hunch. Is this policy written out anywhere?

I really doubt we will know much more before the August 1st update.  Just my opinion...

For a similar issue (allowed to debark using a COR) the official answer from RCI was that you can't - the reality reported from folks who actually went there is that you could.

There have even been reports on FB from people that sailed with a COR and could still get off on all the places that Royal said does not accept them

Once the policies are set you will be notified.  No point dwelling on it now as they are not releasing full details until Aug 1
