NCL switching from Pepsi to Coke Products

It's not April 1, so... it's real? Oh, this is fabulous news. Is it too much to hope that this may eventually include Coke Freestyle machines like on RCI?

Here's a weird question.  I know NCL won't let you bring your own sodas aboard but what exactly is the rule?  Is it about no beverages or no liquids?  I would like to bring a bottle of the salad dressing I normally use.  Is that going to be an issue?  It will be hilarious if I have to smuggle salad dressing in a shampoo bottle, lol.

That's fine! They're looking for booze, not ranch.

Someone is on the Escape right now and claimed Pepsi only.

I would guess it will take at least a few weeks or more to get the entire fleet changed over depending on where and when they get back to their current homeport pr other place they can do the swap.

Do you think Escape will have it by December. Like me some diet coke with Jack

Does anyone know what the new line-up will be?  As a fat diabetic (who shouldn't be drinking soda anyway) I tend to just stick to their Diet options.  Anyone know what those might be?  (Assuming this will be fleetwide in the near future).

Also, are they keeping the Redbull (is that part of either distributors chain)?

My DW just said DelRio must have heard me bitching all these years about having to drink Pepsi instead of Coke!! As stated above, happy days are here again!

Back in the day ( before 2016)  I would always bring two cases of 16oz. Coke on board. I would drink two of the six packs through the week, and give the rest to our room steward and casino personnel. They were quite appreciative to get a break for a little while from drinking the "other stuff"!!

I have a very close friend who is an Officer on one of the NCL ships.  He told me a few weeks ago about the switch and I had been sworn to secrecy.  It is going fleet wide but he didn't have any type of schedule for the switchover. I don't drink soda so this doesn't really apply to me but I know lots of others will be happy for the change (and when I did drink soda, it was Coke all the way).

I'm on board the Breakaway right now and there are coke employees changing out all the soda machines in the bars to coca cola products. Thought I'd share since I didn't see any news about it!

What a great week! 1st dropping the vax mandate & now coke products! I can't wait to get on a ship

Now, we will get why isn't Pepsi available instead of Coke products threads

Someone will want a full refund after their cruise because they must have Pepsi and have an allergic reaction to Coke products. 😬

Anyone on Pearl?  We leave at the end of the week (fingers crossed for negative CoVID test, that is!)

It was still Pepsi 7/22 sailing - my DIL wasn't happy!  lol

I love Coke and hate Pepsi(too sweet).  I do not know why but I love Diet Pepsi and hate Diet Coke.

On a cruise though I only drink soda to calm an upset stomach so it won't matter to me much.

I am the same way with the love/hate relationship of the two products!

Yuck.  I hate Coke.  Pepsi for me all the way.  I'll stick to water if Coke is the only soda.  Coke tastes like battery acid but it does do a good buff job on a 1955 Chevy.

I trust you've never actually tasted battery acid! It also does a great job getting rid of the corrosion on your car battery. Not only does it taste great, but has so many other uses!!

Daniels?  Say it ain't so... Please don't ruin an otherwise decent bourbon that way... 😉  🙂

Bite your tongue! Jack Daniels isn't bourbon! 😉
