Oly’s Trollies was closed.  Saw the NCL TOUR to Acadia/Cadillac Summit being loaded up.  Asked the person loading passengers (and hp was also the NCL Excursion Manager if per chance there was room on the bus.

He asked me to wait for a final count.  about 5 minutes later, he came back to me and stated there was one “no show” and if I wanted their seat, I could have it.  Sure thing!

Given my good luck today, I may have to go to the casino tonite!

I posted this in a separate thread, but thought I might be able to get a direct answer here:

"I've read that the mini-golf and the rock wall were both removed to increase the ropes course? Are those (still) gone? Are the bungee and spider web still around? Any recent pics of the kids aquapark area? (Our last ship was the Encore, and it doesn't seem like the kids aquapark is nearly as cool on the Breakaway.)"

I know this is a ways outside of your wheelhouse, but have you seen any other cool stuff for kids who are (probably) just under the 48" height mark?

Thanks!!

Talked to crew when I embarked after returning from Bar Harbor.  Apparently, line cutters then made a dash back to the big tender on the other end (again), that tender had already left, too.

Poetic Justice…warmed my heart!!!!

Amazing the behavior of some people unfortunately.  They need to meet the hallway lady and see what results occur...

Love the review, would love to do a live myself of my upcoming prima cruise but terrified I would spend all my time figuring out how to post and upload pictures quickly.  Haven't posted pictures in many years on CC and was wondering how to do so quickly while on the ship doing a live review?

I’m in the Apple ecosystem.  But, you type in your comments and add pics by clicking on the “Add Files” button at the bottom of the comments, and pic whatever pictures you want to attach.

Hope that helps!

Would love to read/see your review!

Are you using your iPhone or MacBook? I'm planning to do an extensive review on our upcoming 12 day cruise. However I'm planning to do it all from my iPhone... if I can.

And…we’re docked in Halifax.  I did schedule an excursion.  But, it’s not until noon.

Another great night…

Dinner at LeBistro.  All good, except the Lobster Thermidor, which is very, VERY RICH.  I think the sauce had an enough butter that there must be an emaciated cow wandering the hillside somewhere to use that much butter.

Still don’t understand the fascination with Lobster.  It’s OK!  Plenty of less revered seafood I like a lot better.

The rest of the meal was quite good, though (thanks for the Onion Soup recommendation, @JamieLogical).

iPhone mostly.  Prefer to use my iPad.  But, I don’t carry it outside the cabin.  My iPhone is with me everywhere.  That’s why I post so often.

iPad is easier, though…bigger screen and way better keyboard!

Can’t wait to read/see your review!

Our CD (don’t recall his name) intro to the “adult” comedians.  Don’t recall their names, either.  All were good.

45-50 minutes show, but sure enough, a couple showed up 35 minutes late, standing in the aisle, blocking our view of the show, looking for 2 seats together, in the dark?

For good or ill, they got there for the “bluest” part of the show.  They sat down.  Were obviously mortified, got up, blocking our view (again), making those in their row to stand up to let them out (again) after 5 mins.

Regardless of how they felt about the material, the couple were as offensive to us as the comedian was to them.

Some questions I’ll attempt to answer….

-children’s rope course….haven’t seen one…even near the “regular” ropes course

-rock wall…appears to be gone.  At least it’s not where it used to be, right outside “American Diner” (which in itself never seems to be open)

-kids pool area IS OPEN.  Have only seen one child there.  But, temps so far have been in the 50s-60s.  Not very conducive to water play.

Matter of fact, I’ve only seen a handful of children on this cruise.

I thought perhaps I lost a whole day when we turned our clocks forward last night.

You’re correct.  Good thing you’re keeping an eye out.  I could still be in NY wondering where I’m supposed to be.  😉

Went to check my excursion.  No tender this time.  12:30 meet up on the pier.  My view from my Balcony!
