Large Dining Table...

Largest table I have seen is a table for 10, and only a few of them. It is not round but oval. It isn't very comfortable to sit around, crowded, especially at the ends. You can only hold conversations with the few people next to you. Service is slow. Waiters generally wait until everyone at the table has finished the served course. One slow eater can slow up the entire table. Would suggest that you get two tables for 6. Once on board ask the head waiter to place your tables next to each other. Each evening you can switch people around if you like.

I completely agree. Two tables of 6 makes much more sense. Then people can move around if they want on different nights.

I also agree.  We've been next to large tables and for one person to speak with someone at the other end of the table, it's so loud and disturbing for other diners in the general area.

2 tables of 6 are so much better.

I have seen this many times, a large group split into smaller tables that are next to each other.  It seems to make conversation among the group easier.
