Did you send the request to shareholders@carnival.com ?  I received an email back immediately and my OBC was approved the next day.

You got your OBC approved next day? I've never seen one that fast... How long ago was this?

I checked my email, I submitted my request on 08/26 at 7:59am, it was approved on 08/26 at 8:19pm.

I think you got lucky. I submitted mine 11 days later than you, and still nothing aside from the 'acknowledgement' e-mail. Ones in the past have taken me a few weeks.

You should receive an email that looks like below. It will come from "guestadmin@carnival.com". After about two weeks of not receiving any reply, I sent an email and the OBC was given the next day.

This is just a quick auto reply to let you know that we've received your email.  We're happy to look into your inquiry and get back to you as soon as we can.  Due to an increase in inquiries our response time will take longer than normal.  We will process your request as rapidly as possible but keep in mind this may happen as late as the week prior to sailing. Please do not submit any duplicate requests.

Thank you for your patience; we value your business and appreciate this opportunity to assist.

Sincerely,
Carnival Cruise Line

I'm in the same boat... I submitted mine on Aug 22nd and still have not received anything other than the immediate standard response "... we've received your email...". Might have to make a phone call.

I know some have said to check your boarding documents to find the OBC... can someone send me a snapshot (with confidential information removed of course) so I know what I'm looking for?

https://www.carnival.com/booked/document?BookingNumber=ABC123&IsPrintLuggageTagsSelected=true&IsPrintPassFlightSelected=false&IsPrintCruiseInfoSelected=true

Copy this link and put in your booking number for ABC123.  Put this link that now has your booking number in it, in your browser and hit enter. Your Booking Summary should appear.  Scroll down to the second page. Below Itemized Charges will be a box where your Onboard Credit will be.

I hope this helps!!

You don't need to do this any more. Carnival is now back to showing the document when you log in to Carnival.com. This was very handy for a while when Carnival stopped showing the document for some reason.

So interestingly enough, about an hour after I started to draft a follow up email to Carnival to inquire about this, I received an email saying my OBC had been approved. Glad I never sent the email, but definitely coincidental timing! And yes, I see it in my Invoice Details on my Booking & Order Details. Thanks everyone!

I had the same result.  Submitted on Friday 9/9.  Approved and credit in my account 24 hours later.  I see now I got lucky and happened to submit at the right time.

Just clicked Send on a request for Jan 8th sailing...also a casino rate....we'll see.

@ctlyf If you click the link to print your documents, it's typically on there.

Good luck....most casino deals are not approved for the stockholder OBC since you've already gotten a severely reduced or free cabin.

Usually I hear back within two weeks on my shareholder credit (never been denied), but this past time for my upcoming October cruise it was past 5 weeks so I called guest relations. Surprising they answered directly and after being transferred a few times someone from the casino reservations dept helped me and said that they were in in the process of handling the request. Like magic, three hours later it was approved with an email from Carnival and in my onboard account.

I sumbitted mine in mid June for my early July B2B. I didn’t receive any response and wasn’t going to worry about it but about a week after I returned they responded, apologized for the delay, and issued me two x $50 refunds which I thought was pretty cool of them
