NCteacherlovescruising Posted October 31, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2022 We have a 5 night cruise booked for December. I believe with cruises this short all I need is to be vaccinated, no need for covid testing. Correct? But what is considered vaccinated? It's been a long time since I've received a booster shot. Correct, if you are vaccinated, there's no need to test. You are beyond vaccinated since you've had a booster.
bEwAbG Posted October 31, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2022 The bivalent boosters are not currently required but they could always add that as a requirement, especially if CDC updates its definition of "fully vaccinated." I belong to an organization that just switched to that requirement this week, with proof of needing the bivalent booster by end of November. WestLakeGirl Posted October 31, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2022 Guessing only leads to trouble. If the start to require a booster, thats one thing. A negative test is another
Rare Jim_Iain Posted November 1, 2022 #9 Share Posted November 1, 2022 Actually I believe after October 6, that most cruises now do not require any vaccination at all unless required by a county you are visited. If unvaccinated on a cruise 10 days or longer you are required to do a home Covid test and take a picture showing date and time You can read further here https://www.celebritycruises.com/health-and-safety 1
