That's really strange. I wonder if it depends on the stock they have on board a particular ship. We've done three cruises since the restart, one each on Harmony, Odyssey and Anthem and the cards have been the same as in the past, with the details printed on them.

My card peeled quickly twice, I am on my third.   Judy's has yet to peel at all.   I keep mine in my pocket by itself, but maybe it is the rubbing on the inside of the pocket that gets it started.

That could be it. I remember, once, the ink smeared on one of ours. Turned out to be because we were handling it with sunscreen on our hands.

Indeed.  We don't use lanyards, and I don't carry a purse, so both of ours go in and out of our pockets.

No biggee though...my current replaced one should make it to PC...I think.  😉

5th Sea Day

We went to Windjammer for breakfast as we continued our tour of the various Breakfast venues.

We arrived around 10 am and it was crowded, but it was still easy to find a table and the lines for the  various food stations were short.

Both sides of the Windjammer were open and each side was a mirror image of the other.    There is a wide variety of breakfast items available, from pancakes, waffles and all types of eggs,  bacon sausage and pastries along with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt and juices.

You can order eggs to order or omelets by speaking to a cook  off to one side of the egg section, but it is not marked and I only figured it out after I saw someone talking to a cook and noticed he was writing done an order.   After you place a custom order, then give you a small stand with a number that you place on your table and they will bring you your order.    I'm not sure If I could have asked for a complete plate with all the sides or just the eggs.   We ordered just the eggs and they were delivered in about 10 minutes.

The food was fine considering the volume of food they prepare in advance and the fact that most of it is sitting out for a while.    If you want a wide variety of breakfast food with little waiting, then Windjammers will work.   The MDR and Johnny Rockets take a little longer but offer a different experience.    We will try Park Café tomorrow and El Loco Fresh before the cruise is over.

Judy met with the knitters in the afternoon.   I tried El Loco Fresh for lunch.   It wasn't very crowded and they offered  small cubed beef and chicken, along with some soft tortillas to make you own dish.   They also had pre made chicken or beef burritos along with cheese or chicken quesadillas.

After the show we headed over to the Main Dining Room for dinner.     We enjoy the MDR and have found the food and service to be outstanding.

On the way back to our cabin we stopped by the Café Promenade for some coffee, hot water and cookies.
