Last I heard, no.  It was a covid thing.

I have not heard of the choir being resurrected after covid. But I sure hope it will be. I found it to be a lot of fun.

Well it came back to Sky Princess recently!

 

 

Here's a video from the round trip cruise from Southampton to New England/Canada in September/October. Sarah Vanderplank is the ACD leading the choir.

I saw some posts about folks participating in the Pop Choir on the Island Princess Northern Lights Cruise.  It seems to be coming back on the longer itineraries.

We were on the Island for the cruise just prior to the Northern Lights Cruise.  They had the choir on that sailing.

GAH!!! We can no longer stand to hear that song. It's especially annoying because the Pop Choir people teach folks to yell "So Good, So Good, So Good!" which is not part of the song. Then when some "entertainer" does the song a bunch of the audience members yell it out. GAH! GAH!! GAHH!!!

I think it falls under the new Princess slogan “We don’t do that anymore.”

Did that originate with the Red Sox at Fenway? And I agree — So bad, so bad, so bad!
