ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS

Dear Guest,

Due to a medical emergency on our current sailing, our arrival to Orlando (Port Canaveral) has been delayed until Monday. As a result, we’ll now set sail on Monday, November 28th, 2022, and boarding will begin at the original time planned. Regrettably, we won’t be able to visit Nassau, Bahamas, and good news – we’ll visit our private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay, as planned. Please see our revised itinerary below.

Date Day Port of Call Arrive Depart
11/28/22 Mon Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida   4:30 PM
11/29/22 Tue Perfect Day at CocoCay 7:00 AM  5:00 PM
11/30/22 Wed Cruising
12/01/22 Thu Falmouth, Jamaica 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
12/02/22 Fri Labadee, Haiti 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
12/03/22 Sat Cruising
12/04/22 Sun Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida 6:00 AM

While these circumstances are beyond our control, we understand that this change impacts your vacation. Below are your options, including the option to cancel for a 100% Future Cruise Credit to come and sail with us at a later time.

If you decide to sail, you’ll receive the following:

Onboard Credits:
Since we’re cutting our cruise short, we’ll provide you with the value of 1 day of your cruise fare as a refundable onboard credit. Plus, you’ll receive a prorated refundable onboard credit for any pre-cruise packages you have purchased, including RoyalUp. If you pre-purchased any Royal Caribbean International shore excursions for Nassau, they will be refunded as a refundable onboard credit. All of these credits will be applied to your Onboard Account and can be used anywhere onboard. Any remaining amounts after your cruise ends will be refunded to your card on file.

Perfect Day at CocoCay Shore Excursions:
Any pre-purchased Royal Caribbean shore excursions booked for Perfect Day at CocoCay will continue as planned.

Other Items:
If you purchased your air directly through Royal Caribbean International, our Air2Sea Team will contact you directly to assist you with changing your flight. Kindly note, you’ll receive loyalty points for the original number of nights, even though your cruise is now shorter.

If you decide to cancel:
While we can’t wait to set sail with you, we understand this was an unexpected change. Should you no longer wish to sail or want to change your sail date, please contact your Travel Advisor or give us a call at 1 866 562 7625 by November 12th, 2022. You’ll receive a Future Cruise Credit in the value of 100% of your cruise fare paid. Your Future Cruise Credit will be issued to your email address on file within 14 business days from the time we process your request and can be used on any Royal Caribbean International cruise departing on or before November 28, 2023.

We’re truly sorry for any inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unexpected circumstance.

Sincerely,

Yes, the Captain just announced that we will arrive in Port Canaveral at 4:00 am Monday.

Drats...just off Wonder two weeks ago.  With only having to drive a short distance home, I would have loved that freebie extra day!  🙂

I agree 100%!  Especially since that will be my 80th day with Royal Caribbean, leveling me up to Diamond status!

That extra day counts towards your total (twice if you are in a suite), so if you go down to gs and book the 6 nighter you will receive the benefits of D status starting Monday.

It is going to be messy.

According to the port Canaveral schedule, cruise terminal 5 was scheduled to be vacant on Monday.  While not ideal, if necessary I would think terminal 5 Monday could service Indy while terminal 1 services Wonder.  Of course, that would mean passengers on Indy who parked in the garage at CT1 would need a shuttle, so they will be unhappy.  Also, IF (big if) it happens that way, passengers boarding Indy at terminal 5 may want to select an off site parking vendor as Indy will probably be back to docking at terminal 1 at the end of their cruise.

When we were on the Mariner in May we left from T1 but returned to T5.  Royal provided very nice buses to take people and luggage back to T1 to get their cars.  It was no problem at all…..

It will be our first time on Wonder so a bit disappointed we will only be on for 6 days, but happy to be losing Nassau instead of the others ports.

Apparently this incident took place near the play scape and it’s still close. The woman was cut off so clearly inebriated and fell up or down the stairs breaking her orbital bone.

Rumor. We are on board it’s a man who appeared to suffer a cardiac event in front of Windjammer after breakfast Friday. One of our deck mates  saw it and said he looked “dead.” About an hour later it was clear we were making a U-turn and picking up speed. My app showed us at 22.5 kts headed south. Shortly after caption advised we were making full speed to San Juan due to a passenger medical emergency and would be there at 8 pm. It took almost eight hours at top speed. He advised our new ETA to PC was 4 pm Sunday. We docked for about an hour at San Juan leaving around 9 pm. Short time ago captain advised our new eta to PC is 4 am Monday.  We slowed to about 18 kts couple hours ago. Ship is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. Don’t miss the Effectors Crash & Burn show in Royal theater.
