Love it. Ā Thank you for sharing! Ā This is going to help us in the count down to joining on the 5th of January! Ā we're very keen to know which nights are formal as I expect that it will be same/same for ours.

I think tomorrow night is formal night. Yes it is

I have always wondered how people book back to back cruises. How do you manage to keep the same room?
EDIT: reread your posts and see youā€™ll be shifting during the cruises. That must be annoying!Ā
Ā

Do you book it all yourself online or through a travel agent? Do you get any kind of discount for doing it that way? How far in advance do you do it to ensure itā€™s seamless?

Well. Not quite on board yet. Later this morning.

Flew in from Perth to MelbourneĀ  yesterday and stayed last night at the sofitel on Collins. LovelyĀ  hotel with great views.

I'm cruising with my mum for the first two cruises and solo for the last one.

Join in this threadĀ  anyone else on board.

Will attach my first glimpse of the ship from my hotel room earlier this morningĀ

She can find the smoking areas no problem.Ā

It's more me getting lost.

I keepĀ  thinking it's coral. Don't like where the international Cafe is. Prefer it next to explorers.

Ā

Meanwhile lots of people on Coral complain because the International Cafe isn't on deck 5 in the Atrium. šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Ā

I thought the Coral location was good but it should have a wall between it and the Casino to cut down the noise.

Weā€™ll be joining you in Melbourne. Have you done the progressive trivia? What does progressive mean? Iā€™m thinking of changing my dinner booking so I can go.Ā

With progressive trivia there is a 'prize' every day, and a prize for the total score at the end of the cruise. We have only had progressive trivia in a long cruise.

I used the Princess agent that we used last cruise. I booked these cruises last minute. The last one I bookedĀ  about 6 weeks ago. But the other 2 were only confirmedĀ  about a weekĀ  before. If you book ahead you can get the same room for all the cruises. Changing rooms is better than no cruise.

I usually do progressive trivia. It's usually on longer cruises where there are lots of sea days. We didn'tĀ  bother with this cruise tho as it wasĀ  not well timed against other stuff we want to do on board. LuckilyĀ  Princess do a lot of trivial. With the more fun ones usually in the evening between other entertainment.Ā
