Best Place for Lunch on Embarkation Day

One last question before we board tomorrow, 1/4.  Where do you suggest is the best place for lunch upon boarding?

Wife and I think you can never go wrong in the Terrace Cafe. For lunch or dinner.

You only really have two options onboard, that would be Terrace or Waves. I'm good with either. 

 

A third option is to do what Pinot recommends, that is to spend time in the local port town, eat at a local restaurant, and then board later after the rush. Not a bad idea, some people are excited to get on the ship though. I usually stay at my hotel till checkout time then make my way to the ship. I won't be there at 9:30 -10am like some people have mentioned.

Have lunch before boarding   then get a snack later  at Barristas/Waves or the Terrace

We like eating in Terrace Cafe.  It wasn't crowded at 1:00 on embarkation day. It was quite pleasant.

We also enjoy Terrace Cafe.  Enjoy sitting outside and relaxing.  If it is crowded, you can always take your plate and find a table in Waves.  Have a wonderful cruise!

We will be boarding and if nice as looks grab a plate and terrace and go outside.

Well, I'm sure that might have been your experience, but in mine it's actually the other way around.

Don’t discount Baristas. It is not how you remember it. You can get a nice little lunch there now.

I believe we had lunch at Waves grill in June on Riviera. It wasn't too long to wait. You would not go wrong with the other choice, Terrace Grill, either.
