If you were on death row (unjustly of course) in the brig of a Holland America Ship . . . what would you request as your last meal? You can mix and match restaurant locations.

My meal:

Lido:  Fresh Baked Croissant and a Poppy Seed Roll

Dutch Cafe:  Pea Soup

Rudi's Sel de Mer:  Coq Au Vin

Canaletto - Tiramisu (with Irish Coffee from the Dutch Cafe)

Thanks for joining the fun, if you wish!

Pinnacle Grille. I'll start with a cocktail, please. A Lemon Drop.
I'll have the Clothesline Bacon AND the wedge salad for appetizers.
(what the heck. it's my last meal, so I can splurge)
For the main course, I would like the Filet Mignon, medium rare, mashed potatoes, asparagus. And Bearnaise Sauce on the side. That does come with some onion rings, I believe?
And for dessert I would please have the Chocolate Volcano Cake.

Thank you!

appetizer- clothesline bacon

second appetizer- lobster mac

Entree- Beef tenderloin with blue cheese

dessert- their desserts are great, but no dessert stands out for me the way the other dishes do!

on a two week cruise in December, I liked the tenderloin and the bacon so much I had them twice!

they also had a veal scallopini dish in Canalletto that I really liked, but I can’t remember the exact name, and though I would swear in court I took a shot of the menu, I cannot find it!

I like the escargot and the long ago but long gone king crab legs in the pinnacle grill. The dover sole is a hit in Rudis and paired with a Caesar salad is a winner winner.

Ruth C - You're right! The doctors will never know what we ate because it will be our last hurrah! I would request some champagne to have with my Dover sole  and I'll

have 2 chocolate souffles (with whipped cream) instead of one! 😊

Too bad we can't eat all our meals like they are our last.  Learned from a Cancer survivor to live every day like it is your last.

Lori,

Being just home from our B2B on K'dam, it's still hard to choose!

Appetizer-sized Short-Rib Gnocchi (Canaletto)

Forest Mushroom Soup (Pinnagrill, with the twisty bread-things and pepper-cream cheese)

Josh Rogan Curry (Lido, one of the few things we had with any spice to speak of) over Jasmine Rice

ETA: with SBP-covered Cline Old Vine Zinfandel (until they ran out of it!)

Coconut and dulce de leche tart (also the Lido; apparently it is a classic Argentine dessert)

With a Latte from the Exploration Cafe.
