Upgrade and perks

So my husband and I just got an upgrade accepted from an inside to a deluxe balcony on Sky Princess or next month. We noticed that they gave us the perk of 100.00 per person for excursions which was a nice surprise. The problem is that most excursions are sold out and the few that aren’t, we are not really interested in. Will they open up some spaces on these excursions when we get onboard? Do we just lose the obc for excursions if we don’t like what’s left. I am assuming we can’t spend that obc on anything else. Am I correct? Any other advise?
Thank you

You can use the ‘excursion credit’ as you would on any thing else onboard, with the possible exception of using it in the casino.

If they’re no excursions left, you can use your OBC for anything on the ship ( ie gifts, speciality dining, spa, drinks etc.).

We've found that they often open a second session of popular excursions on board or shortly before sailing. If you are actually interested, check at shore excursions shortly after boarding. As others have said, current practice is that these OBCs can actually be used as general OBC on board.
