Free laundry service

[TWA bluesy]

I've been on 4 Regent cruises and never had free laundry service.  Does this option also include shirts (both long and short sleeve)? If so, it will make packing easier.

Yes… includes shirts. Wash, dry, press …also starch or none. 

 either returned folded or on hanger as per your request.

This is an awesome benefit of Regent, and yes, it does make packing easier. Also the ability to get things pressed that may have gotten wrinkled in transit allows all Regent passengers to look their best from day one to the end of the cruise. 
The extra $100 OBC as gold isn’t bad either.

Laundry is great and never had an issue. They pay real attention too, my wife had a blouse that had a very small, virtually unnoticeable stain (you had to know where to look) and they enclosed a note apologizing they could not remove it.

 

They were excellent and absolutely does help lighten the amount of packing, but they also have self service laundry machines complete with iron if you'd rather do it yourself.

Awesome!  I think our last Regent cruise in a Penthouse, laundry was free as well but we were in a lower stateroom.

To add... it does NOT include dry cleaning.

They do stretch your clothes if you have material that will stretch.  It never goes back to normal size.

Never had a problem… laundry service is always perfect.

Always had great laundry service, never had anything miss handled.  They always return are clothes as we’ve send them out (except they come back clean).

I wish they'd stretch my clothes.  That way they'd fit as the cruise goes on. 🤣

But they don't fit once you get home.  I have pants made up of rayon, nylon, and spandex.  I took them on a World Cruise.  They insisted on ironing them and stretched them out.  I tossed them all and bought new.  I messed up and sent out a pair on another cruise.  They stretched them also.   On the World Cruise, people had tops which became dresses.  Swimsuits stretched.  You learned to just wash them yourself.  Just my experience.

You can give them instructions to wash and hang to dry with no ironing.  That is what I did with my swimsuits.  They came back clean, but not stretched.

I am a bit old fashioned, I feel better doing my own socks and underwear.  The new laundry arraignment makes it much easier to find empty machines.

We never had our clothes stretched out… I have no idea why yours was. Strange!
