May look at one of the longer sailings on Navigator if our grandson spends the summer with us.  Interested in how the ship is.

Doubt that I would get off the ship in Ensenada.  Was not impressed with that port.

As far as Lightyear, I was disappointed in that movie. I was expecting something along the original Toy Story line, and it was far from it.  Maybe that is why it did so poorly at the box office.  Watching a movie on a cruise would be last on my list, regardless of what is playing.

I believe that it was because the Character from Toy Story was "based" on this one.....as the one from Toy Story the movie was a toy and came from "somewhere", that's why there was a face character at Disney World/Land AND a "fur" (obv not fu, just not facer haha) character....two different things 🙂

Didn't see it though.....

I totally understand this as the port itself is... interesting.  However, a couple of times when in port we've gone down to Las Canadas Campamento (about a half hour south of the port) to do zip lining and/or ATV riding.  Great people there, wonderful location, fun zip line and ropes course. Last time I arranged with a local tour company to have a driver pick us up and take us down there, and we hit an excellent fish taco spot on the way back.  Very affordable for an excursion.

Next time I go back to Ensenada I'm hoping to visit their wine region, which I've heard is pretty cool...

Getting off navigator today! Kivi Rogers was hilarious. A member of the cruise director staff last night said your sailing has 902 kids, so pack your patience or get full use of the drink package!

Thanks for the heads up. I figured there would be a ton of kids onboard. We will definitely be making good use of our drink package!

We did the wine tour last trip. It was just ok. I think you’d be better off hiring a driver or booking through Viator and doing a private wine tasting tour. It is definitely an up and coming area.

There are a few activities I am interested in trying onboard. One is the Casino: Learn to Play. Does anyone know if that includes Craps? I'd love to learn more about that game! Please let me know if you have tried this or know anything about it. I have not seen it on the other cruise  that we travel with.

This is the other activity we are interested in - the Moet & Chandon tasting. Question though - Do they still charge you if you have the UBP?

generally yes, they will teach you blackjack, roulette, craps. You can also ask a dealer.

you can also try googling something online.

The essence of the game is you are betting on the outcome of the 2 dice added together. The confusing part is when the bet resolves. Some bets can take multiple rolls to resolve, other bets are immediate. An example: Field bet (a specific set of numbers) resolves immediately on the next roll. But the hard ways (4, 4 for example) only resolves when that sum is rolled. Then the other factor is what the payout actually is, but the dealers will help with that part.

Ice show for sure, I went twice... I'm not a big movie guy but I loved Top Gun: Maverick.
