TJ13 Posted March 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2023 The Liquor selection available seems scarce, at best in fun shop these days. Does Carnival even have Jagermeister available any more, either fun shop or at the bars? What energy drinks do the have? Any of these items included in Cheers package? Theosprey247 Posted March 20, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2023 Not sure which energy drinks Carnival has but they’re covered by Cheers. on my December Panorama cruise they had Jager.
Markmom18 Posted March 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2023 Last time I was on Carnival, the energy drinks were Rock Star. RCCL has Red Bull. Just an FYI for comparison. 🛳️🛳️ Bobbi
Playhouse05 Posted March 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2023 We’ve been looking for Jäegermeister in the funshops as well, have ordered it every cruise. My husband finally called Carnival and they said it’s not coming back. We plan on carrying on Red Bull (not Rockstar fans) and hopefully find Jager at one of the bars since we have Cheers. mz-s Posted March 20, 2023 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2023 I think they generally have Rockstars, perhaps Red Bulls as well. The fun shop's liquor selection has been seriously cut down in recent months as the behavioral problems have ratcheted up. You can now only buy 1 bottle of liquor per stateroom, only for cruises longer than 6 days I think.

I imagine CCL has found something to go in that space that brings more profit than booze. Edited March 20, 2023 by jiggs word

They seriously limit this and the prices have gone way up. As far as duty free liquor, that remains as popular as ever but the selection is varied from ship to ship and cruise to cruise so it's tough to say what will be available for a particular sailing (other than perennial favorites like Hennessey White). Fair enough, I never really consider the online funshops a thing as I don't really pre-order things 🙂 I feel the DF liquor is much more limited on the boat itself, but maybe it is just the recent ships I've sailed on.
havanadaydreaming Posted March 20, 2023 #9 Share Posted March 20, 2023 im pretty much done with getting liquor from the fun shops, we tend to do that at port now. better selection and prices. not all ports are strong but there is usually at least one per cruise that stands out. Rare TxTeach79 Posted March 20, 2023 #10 Share Posted March 20, 2023 Rockstar is gone - it's Celsius and Monster now (at least on my last few cruises)

Yes, that’s correct, buying before cruise to have in your stateroom.
Rare 1025cruise Posted March 20, 2023 #12 Share Posted March 20, 2023 When Carnival brought back the option to buy a bottle for your stateroom, they increased prices dramatically and decreased the options.
kona_wahine Posted March 20, 2023 #13 Share Posted March 20, 2023 We bought a bottle of Seagrams for our cruise last month and I see it’s no longer on the list for our October cruise. Very limited selection now!
steve_lisa_ohio Posted March 20, 2023 #14 Share Posted March 20, 2023 I thought I had tomato juice mixers sent to cabin last time but when I looked to add it again, that option's gone now.
VentureMan_2000 Posted March 20, 2023 #15 Share Posted March 20, 2023 I think they stopped selling it because Jäegermeister is harder to clean out of the carpet... 😁
pc_load_letter Posted March 20, 2023 #16 Share Posted March 20, 2023 On Panorama last week. They offered Celsius and Monster. No Rockstar.

Most of the time it involves shots drank quickly and at times no so good results. 🤣 I REALLY don't like black licorice so I avoid Jaeger completely lol
Sgwscruiser Posted March 23, 2023 #19 Share Posted March 23, 2023 Sometime try a Jager Bloody Mary, sub Jager for the vodka use like 3/4 of a shot instead of a full shot per drink. Unless you saw it being made with Jager you would never guess it was Jager. It is excellent.
