DOU Everywhere - Experience With This Offer

Hey all, looking for people's experience with getting these offers.  I know no one knows the secret formula, but just looking for input on people's actual experience with getting these.

As I'm sure could be garnered from my posts, we are degenerate gamblers.  If you're against degenerate gamblers, please feel free to skip.

We get DOU in the casino quite frequently, but still hunting down that elusive DOU Everywhere offer.  We've gotten offers for up to a comp balcony, never quite made it to a suite.  Which is fine, of course we would take one, but suites don't jazz me as much as free booze! (I'm kidding everyone, it's okay.  But not really kidding.)

I've seen offers with DOUE with even an oceanview, so I don't think it has to be tied to a suite, which would then lead me to believe it isn't tied to how much money you are throwing at the casino, because in my typical experience, the more money you throw, the better the cabin category, but if the DOUE is offered on lower category rooms, then what's the golden ticket.

Anyone will to share their experiences with getting the DOUE offer, what type of room category the offer came with, are all current offers coming as DOUE, or just the occasional rare unicorn, etc, etc...

Following. Have never been offered “drinks on us everywhere” on any free cruise. Have done Ultra, Premier, gotten up to a free balcony. Always get free drinks in casino. Got what I consider a boatload of points on my last sailing (unfortunately also dropped a boatload). Not sure if that will matter. 39 cruises on Carnival. Regular player. Please, DOUE people, do tell.

I couldn't tell you the secret sauce.  I just think it's random.

I’m thinking this is right. Meaning kinda random. I only play craps, so I don’t build up nearly the points slot players get. I typically get offers for $100 cabins, DOU in casino and $200 free play. But I’ve also randomly gotten the DOU everywhere on the ship. I can’t say why. I don’t change the way I gamble. Just sometimes get it.

We have been getting these offers all the time as of late and have booked 4 cruises this year and 3 next year using this offer. I put in my VIFP number and pulled up a random sailing to show you a sample offer.  The offers we have booked under are better than this because we had offers of $100 balcony cabins per person including $1500 OBC and DOU anywhere on the ship. This offer is the same except it isn't $100 balcony offer but is still a good deal in my view.

Just some background on us. We are mid 40's, both Platinum, both about 10 days away from Diamond.  We cruise about 4 to 6 times per year and we usually book either regular balcony or suite staterooms. We gamble anything from about $3,000 $5,000 total per cruise, mostly on slots but some poker and blackjack.

Not sure what the secret formula is or if it just random.Screenshot_20230320_140140_Chrome.thumb.jpg.928032b4a5c9748f49b0e51d5e1c4a29.jpg

I don't think the offers are random, at least not entirely. Why does my wife sometimes get better casino offers than I do, despite us always spending similar amounts of money and time? That might come down to randomness. But the overall tier of offers that we get is determined by our level of play.

The problem is Carnival doesn't really publicize their tiers like most other casinos do. So there's a lot of speculation.

I do not play slots (unless I get bored at the tables)  So any offers I get is based on my table play.  I'm not a big better but I do spend a lot of time in the casino.

My husband gets more fun play than I do but we both get the DOU everywhere.  Right now I have about 5+ different offers with the DOU everywhere.

would one expect to see DOU in casino + companion before seeing DOU Everywhere?  Just curious as I see DOUIC a lot, DOUIC + 1 occasionally but have not seen DOUE.  As other's mentioned, I am a table game player which is about as opaque as you can get with how they rate you...especially at craps.

And while we're on the subject does anyone ever see an onboard upgrade to Everywhere based on play early in the trip?  I know people can earn DOUIC based on play, I get the idea that Everywhere is something you need to board the ship with, but just curious.

Anything is possible once onboard, but yeah I think you typically have to board the ship with Everywhere to get it. You won't necessarily earn it for the current voyage.

You can ask the casino host where you're rating at any time with table play. But yeah it is not as cut and dry as slots, to say the least.

For a 7 day cruise, what's your bankroll? How much time do you play per day? Play every day? What do you play? What's average wager?

That's the secret sauce.

DOU everywhere, Free cabins booked: 2 deluxe Ocean view, 1 interior, 2 aft balconies, 1 ocean suite. Not much free play.

$1200-$1500 per cruise, 2-3 hrs. per day average (7 days), Slots, bet   middle $ range, (not .80- not $5). I earn 4000-13000 points per cruise.

Now you know. Good luck

So many people think that to get free cruises you have to bet the kid's college fund. It's just not true as you show.

Nothing you do onboard besides spending $1 in the casino gets you future casino offers.  Here's some ways you get onto the marketing demographics..opt in for all marketing, always click "Please send me emails", do not do research incognito, get a Carnival credit card, be the person who pays for the S&S and cruises, have high status on travel related places like hotels, airlines, play online casino games with accounts attached to your Carnival account email, join and have status in major land casinos like MGM, enter your land based casino cards at Ocean Players Club, sign up at Ocean Players Club for offers, never click on "Do Not Sell My Information".  See, loss of privacy and junk mail is the price you pay for offers.  The casino dept doesn't much care what you spent last cruise, they are looking for people who are willing and able to spend money on the next cruise.

No one can earn DOU-Everywhere once onboard.  DOU in the casino is the only possible comp.  The DOU-E is a carrot to get you onboard.  The casino has no interest in you leaving the casino once you have "earned" the DOU and they know once you earn it, you aren't leaving.

You and I are in same neighborhood.

No suites, always balconies and a Spa Balcony once

Twice that amount for me.  Have offer for free suite, DOUE for two, and 1,000 in free play.  We cruise about five times per year and mostly on Carnival.  Our favorite offer is for the Elite cruises, usually a balcony, DOUE for both and 300 in free play.

I had never gotten the drinks everywhere offer until the start back after Covid. Got free oceanveiw, 200 Funplay and drinks everywhere for me and took my 19 yo son for a mother/son trip. I gave him my funplay $ and he proceeded to get 4 of a kind on 3 different table games. Came home with $2500. I proceeded to lose the whole trip! Now I get free oceanveiw, 500 funplay and drinks everywhere for me. But the now underage 20yo gets free interior, 1000 Funplay and drinks everywhere for him and a companion! He can’t even book himself! We were betting the same amounts? I think they want the winnings back?

We haven't sailed Carnival in 10 years and just got off a cruise last month with the free balcony, 200.00 casino play, 200.00 obc, and I had drinks everywhere and hubby had free drinks in the casino only. So its a crap shoot.  But know I did book with them again for same stuff minus drinks everywhere only in casino free.

As a fellow gambling degenerate, most of my offers include DOUE for me and a companion. I really think they're random - my current offers include Elites in a suite with $2500 free play, Ultras in an oceanview with $500 free play, the random assortment of Play My Way offers from a balcony to a suite and from $500 to $1000 free play, and a Hot Streak offer in an Interior with basic DOU and $200 free play. There are some other Australian offers in there, but we're waiting to do Australia in a few years. I wonder if Carnival's just trying to get me back on board after my last 3-day cruise where I actually left with quite a bit of their money. 🤣

Does anyone know when offers are updated? Many of mine expire in May. Would they update April 1? Hoping the play on my last cruise translates to a bump in offers. I did notice I have my first DOUE offer but it’s on a sailing from Australia in a few months. That’s not happening. (I did check airfare for kicks. It was about $2,000.) Thanks.

Offers drop after offers expire.  Your onboard play will have no impact on new offers.

If that were true then everyone would be getting free room+funplay+DOUE offers. The offers you get has to be based upon level of play. Otherwise how do they determine who gets free room offers and who just gets DOU. Or who gets invited to Ultra cruises and who only gets Getaways or Premier.
