I used to go to an Ice Cream Parlor in Brooklyn called Admiration .They had the very best malteds.

We had Hirsch in Bay Ridge, Jahn's on 86th in Bath Beach w the Kitchen Sink.

 

Now near the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Carroll Gardens is the Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Shop.

They make their own Ice Creams, Malt, Syrups and use the Old Blue Seltzer Bottles sometimes for fun.

Real old Ice Cream Shop. Egg Creams too! Sundaes to die for....   Floats and Soda... Ice Cream Heaven...

 

Brooklyn is Alive....

Good old Coca Cola on ice…real Coke…not the diet or flavored stuff.  A close second place would be a Raspberry Lime Ricky or a chocolate ice cream soda.  The chocolate ice cream soda has about a third of the calories and cholesterol as a chocolate malted frappe.
