Cruise director Mark is making an announcement.   I can actually understand him quite well outdoors on the forward decks.  So many times such announcements are gibberish but not so on Radiance.

That’s because he’s English lol 😆!!

Didn’t hear a word as the lady by the pool is doing a stretch class loudly…!

The on board booking price is always more than the pre booking Planner price I find. Book one person; two have dinner.

So you are saying just book for one person on the planner and show up the "day" of with 2 persons and use your BOGO coupon to pay for the second person?

Do they get mad when you show up with 2 people?

They aren't printing the Meet The Officers but here are the senior officers.

Where is this?  I begged and got a printed sheet on a cruise last year.  Think it was on Anthem TA.

So far the approach of pre-purchase then cancel to use the BOGO onboard seems to work as reported by many.   The risk would be one ship or a fleetwide policy change.

The intent of the BOGO may be to fill the venues but on a space available basis.  If so, they could implement policy to block this approach.

There is no policy that says you can't but equally no policy that says you can.  YMMV.

Any good bar/bartender recommendations?  The pour last night at the champagne bar was not great. Martini and was an inch from top of glass

The pub and Schooner come to mind.  You've got 14 more nights to find the perfect martini on board 🤣

You can see why these ships were so popular when they first launched.

Radiance class is still our favorite. So far this year we’ve been on Jewel, Serenade and Brilliance…will be on Radiance for our NYE cruise B2B

I always swing past beforehand to let them know 2 will be fining and the other person is my BOGO. At Giovannis tonight so will report back.

No Whispering Angel at the Champagne Bar last night but I’ll let them off for not unloading supplies  yet… will check tonight.
My glass of Chandon bubbles looked too yellow to me to be Chandon as that is usually very light in colour… but they insisted it was.  Again will check the pour tonight!

Chair hogs seem to be respecting the signs.  A few unoccupied loungers are probably from people in the water.  Otherwise lot's of availability.

Suffice it to say there is LNG in Galveston.   Maybe they should send Icon there.  🤔

Jubilee will be coming to Galveston and it and its 2 sisters are LNG ships. Idk supposed to be less or no soot. Carnival is expanding terminal 1 for LNG. I dont follow the details but plan to try one of these new ships.

On the subject of expansion MSC has presented plans to build a new terminal.
