Solarium Bistro Restaurant

I am boarding Odysssey Of the Sea this Saturday and the RCI app is now listing this restaurant as  reserved to Pinnacle guests. Is this a fleet wide change or specific to this particular  (transatlantic) crossing?

Many one-offs happen on P heavy sailings- not reported on any other ship.

We're on Quantum of the Seas next week for the last leg of the Transpacific, Hawaii to Vancouver.  This is actually a separate cruise, but Solarium Bistro is available to book for us, and we're not Pins.

It was reserved for Pins on the Wonder TA crossing in Oct. I’m on the Ovation TP right now, and it is not reserved. There are about 1300 D and above guests, and I believe they mentioned 270 Pins.

I done dozen longer Repo's many with 40-50% Upper Tier. So most time in Evenings they'll reserve 2-3 Lounges these. This Sailing even more heavy high end upper tier doesnt surprise me at all

Is the food there changed when it’s pinnacle only? 
 

I recall a few years ago lunch at Solarium Bistro was unique and different than WJ, it had a Mediterranean theme. Now it’s the exact same food as WJ scaled down.

I think this happens a lot when there's a large amount of diamond and up on board. Before we made diamond we were on a transatlantic and they closed out the Viking Crown lounge every evening from around 4.30

There were 430 of us Pinnies on that Wonder TA...so not surprising Solarium was set up for Pinnacles.   😉   Though we only went there once for the really nice salad bar.  Still preferred CK for our meals.
