Infinity compared to Summit?

Infinity hasn’t been revolutionized. I was on Infinity last summer. It was fine. If you like the itinerary and the price is right, I would not hesitate to book. I won $1900 in the casino on the first night, so that made it even better. 😁

We sailed on both in 2022. As others have mentioned, they are identical in layout, but the summit has been revolutionized and the infinity has only had its public areas updated.

The major differences that we noted is that the infinity (in her regular cabins) still has shower curtains instead of a glass door and the bathroom tile is really dated. Our cabin had newer carpet, but the furniture wasn’t updated and the tv was smaller on the infinity (but we did like that we could use the plug behind the tv with a power bar and use the shelf below as our charging station area). Also, the main dining room looked more like a hotel banquet hall with regular chairs vs the varied seating options on the summit.

The service was exceptional on both ships and we wouldn’t hesitate to book the infinity again

IMHO there is no comparison as far as the ships are concerned. Infinity is in desperate need of a renovation and the Summit is absolutely gorgeous! But as far as the service, crew, food, etc. infinity has the same amazing Celebrity service!

Having previously sailed exclusively with Royal Caribbean, we thoroughly enjoyed the Summit last June. We are booked on the Infinity in December. How does Infinity compare to the Summit? Should we expect a similar experience?

Based on 2021-2022 sailings, Infinity is in the same or better condition as Jewel, Brilliance, Serenade, and Explorer.
