Changing clock on Alaskan cruise

I just booked an expensive excursion in Icy Strait Pointe last week and then today saw that there is a time difference. Do we stay on ship time (Seattle time) or do we change our watches during this cruise to match port times? I'm hoping I didn't screw up our excursion time as I chose first thing in the morning.  Thanks so much!

I believe all ships change to Alaska time.

As 1025cruise said.... the ship time will change to Alaska time (local time), you will change your watch and everybody ought to be on the same time as the people running the excursions.

For some reason this question was asked by someone else recently.  Despite the fact we live in Alaska we have done at least 8 Alaska cruises.  The time on the ship has always matched the local Alaska time.

I agree this is a cruise line/ship policy, even some have mentioned its a Captain policy. Not telling us the cruise ship or cruise line doesn't help us answer the question. But from our many years cruising,  I would be worried if I were on a Carnival ship. They seem to be unpredictable on the topic.

 

The other cruise lines wouldn't cause me any worries.
