Can anyone tell me if passengers are seated with others for breakfast in the main dining room, or if you can ask for a table for two?

Either way.  We like the table for two at breakfast so we can be on our way for the day.

A table for two doesn't always mean quick service. They seem to serve at one speed for breakfast.

I have found it difficult for a table for two on some cruises and super easy on others.  We tend to go ask, when they say it will be a long wait we go to the buffet.

I love breakfast in the MDR.  The toast, the fruit, the service, the perfect poached egg hemispheres, the McDonald’s hash browns.  Mmmmmm. Worth waiting for, in my estimation.  We were never offered a shared table, don’t want one.  It never seemed overly busy, with lots of empty tables. If I saw a table with 6 diners, I assumed they were together.

Haha.  That is so true.  And good luck getting that coffee refill.  In spite of it all, I like MDR breakfast.  I'm never in much a hurry.  If I have to do an excursion, I'll do room service breakfast.

It's nice if you're not planning to do anything much during the day but if you're a pool person reserving a chair takes precedence over a leisurely breakfast in the DR.

I have never taken a hair dryer, but you do you🙂😉

Mrs BV has naturally curly hair.  A hairdryer for her is for drying hair. It styles itself.  On the other hand, I need a strong blow to straighten my beard.  We got by with what was on the ship, but only for the sake of luggage weight.
