The Island is ROATAN.

Which ship are you sailing on?

Determines which port you'll be at.

Yes both have taxis, but you need to kno what you want to do or where you want to go.

On this board there are several threads for independent excursion providers like Victor Bodden or Rony and others.

Thank you for your reply. We plan to come in on the Regal Princess and when I was checking to see what port, the ISLA port is what was mentioned.

The port of Roatan is in Coxen Hole. The other port name is Mahogany Bay.

Yes there is transportion outside the port gates. Taxi are expensive on the island, if you decide what you want to do we maybe able to come up with a better option than a random port taxi.

Regal Princess will dock at Mahogany Bay.

For a tour on Roatan you are best to pre-book a driver for the day and customize your day as suggested by @crewsweeper.Prices are quite reasonable for a party of that size.

As suggested, you should consider booking a driver for the day.  Spend some time looking at the options and decide what you want to do.  Then look at the various excursions of the service providers like Bodden and Rony.  For myself, we just book the driver to take us wherever we want to go as we have been to Roatan many times and know what to do, and perhaps more importantly what NOT to do.  Keep in mind that taxis are not regulated like they are in other ports so fares can vary depending on where you are when you flag one down, and how late in the day it is.  For us there's value in having a driver at our disposal for a predetermined amount of money.

Check out Roni's Tours or Victor Bodden.  They have custom tours that are reasonable.  We did an Eastern Island tour with Bodden that had several stops for $60@ plus tips.

Was that a private tour for two?

Why the heck doesn't Regal Princess just say Mahogany Bay.

It was for 4 of us.  It broke down to $30@, plus the Mangrove boat tour and private beach club.  We stopped at Snapper's for fried conch and shrimp.  Our guide, Kelvin, was very informative and stopped at several places for photos.  It was different than the crowded west end, but was a pretty good tour.

Ok, so $30pp for the van and driver for 4 people, plus extra for the add-ons?

That’s a fairly standard price for Roatan, usually $25pp for 4 or more but it has been that rate for as long as I can remember. For a group it is worthwhile for a couple it becomes rather expensive when you really just want to go from A to B.

I agree West Bay is crowded, we would prefer West End if we could get a good price but the mangrove tour is good.

The West Island tour starts at $25@ for 4 people and you can add what you want.  The private beach that we originally booked had closed and they took us to one in Wend End.  Don't remember the name.
