Will be sailing on Princess for the first time in July 2024

Long time cruiser but sailing for the first time on Princess in July 2024.

Canada and New England out of Boston. My home port.

We are sailing on the Emerald Princess and there will be 14 of us.

Are we able to make dining reservations for all 14 of us. I know generally on cruise ships the tables aren't large enough. 

Anyone sail with a large party like that before?

The largest group we have had at a table is 10.  At the time, that seemed to be the largest table in the MDR.  If I remember correctly we were on the Royal???

If you all want to dine together, check with the maitre d and see if they can push some of the two tops together.  It may help if you dine later too.  

 

If you don't ask, it's an automatic no.

If you all eat together it is going to be really long, long meals. Better to spread the group over a couple of sections.
