Those sunset pictures over Mikonos last night are like out of a movie!!  This whole cruise is so different than the typical Caribbean cruises....in a good way.  How does your husband like the international travel life so far?

He’s enjoyed everything. The time difference has definitely made things more complicated. He much prefers the Sandy beaches of our islands to the rocky beaches here. But the water is so clear here and there’s so many new things to see, that he’s good with it. Definitely something he didn’t think he’d want to do, but he’s glad he came. Postcard scenes at every turn.

They will definitely have to add the the flag to the Galley here. Some times 10-15 minutes goes by without anyone checking for your order. Other times, 5 people come by in 2 minutes. It’s inconsistent. I love The Galley concept… the flags make it work better.

It was about an hour and half cooking demo. Kind of long. But very informative. Nothing is grown or produced on Mykonos. Everything is imported from Athens. Then we finally got to eat.  Amazing food. Stuff I wouldn’t even normally eat. So good and she gave the recipes for everything. That spinach pie… we will definitely have again.

Aloha.  We loved Greek food and have it at least once a month when we are in NY as in Hawaii it is not the same.  Then again in NY we cannot get Poke lol. The spinach pie is always a starter for us.  It is all about the spices. Glad you enjoyed.

Goodbye Mykonos. It was fantastic. Spoke to some of our group that went to Paradise Beach club. They said it was a very young crowd, expensive and not worth the $35 each way cab ride. Said several times, young people were just using the bathroom on the dance floor. Glad we skipped that.
