Princess Player Club offer not being honored!

I received a Princess Player Club offer on May 5th via email .  (I am a Princess Elite)  The offer included free balcony, $750 casino cash and Princess plus package.   My husband received a similar offer.  We are within the valid dates. I called today to book a cruise and they stated that the offer I gave them did not include the Princess Plus package.  After much searching on their part, I forwarded the email that they sent to me.  The supervisor said they see it on my offer but have to check with corporate office.  They said they would call me back…..and of course, have not heard back from them as of yet.  How can they send me an offer with these 3 things stated and then say they don’t have it in their computer? Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions who I can contact at Princess? Thanks for your responses.

that is a great offer.  We use to get free balcony, now inside, and no longer get plus package.

I would demand that they honor their offer that was emailed and do not wait for them to call you.

I have the same problem. I was sent a flyer with a great offer. When I called I was told no. The offer that showed up on my account was much lower. Less free play, lesser stateroom, no Princess Plus. I stayed on the ohone, but she checked and was told no.  We can’t demand when they can’t do it. I wrote to Global Casino but haven’t heard back. I think it is awful to be treated this way. I am loyal to Princess- 113 days since Fall 2019 and 77 days booked and paid for  between November and April 2024. Hard to be denied an offer that just came in the mail. Let me know if you have any ideas. Someone should care about this.

The only offers I’ve ever seen from princess that were worth a damn, were the “bounce back” offers that you earn per cruise, and they slip under your door on the last night.
Previously on the Sky princess, 7-day I earned 8000 points on a mix of slots/vp; on the last night I got a “bounce back” offer of:

- Free Balcony up to 10 night cruise

- Free “Plus” package

- $500 freeplay

NOW, MAILED offers, haven’t even been anywhere CLOSE to that..literally like free interior with no other perks.

To wrap up, I doubt they’ll honor it, even if you have the email..if the offer isn’t in their system, there’s nothing they’ll do. (Why have employees if it’s just humanoid-bots reading from computer screens?)

Had the same thing happen to me.  I had already placed a courtesy hold on the booking online, then called the Casino line.  They had to escalate it to the higher powers that be, and within 3 days it was showing up correctly in my travel summary.  Ever since they switched the call center to the Phillipines it's been more difficult to iron out these issues with the CSA's.

dogm-  Did you call the casino line?  I find that is you try to book using the 1-800 number they do not always have your casino offers in their system.

Sure did. That's the only number I use, since all my bookings are casino offers. Yesterday I booked a different offer with no problems.

I am only having trouble with the one that came with two offers - - a GREAT offer and a much less offer. They only want to give me the worse offer. Thanks for trying to help!

Funny how things work...or don't. 🙃 I get a variety of offers --most of which are better than my "Come Back" offers. We have been sailing a lot on Princess (106 days since "Return to Service" and have 77 days booked between September 2023 and April 2024), so usually my email and snail mail offers are better than my "under the door" offers. I think they look at the big picture.

We are from Wisconsin and are surrounded by casinos. It's interesting to see how they vary in ways they "reward" gamblers to come back.

Thanks again for taking the time to try to help!

Snooze you loose.  These things are usually capacity controlled and would end when met

No snoozing. We live in a rural area and our mail takes a few extra days. I called right away. It's all good. The issue was more about sending me a lesser offer via email a few days after I tried booking the GREAT offer. Same event - same cruise.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help!

I frequently get those types of emails. You might be out of luck if you do not try & book immediately after receiving the email.

All offers are capacity controlled.

The last one I received was for a free balcony but could upgrade to a Penthouse for $ 1,000 pp Plus $700. OBC.  I waited a few days Before calling the casino department & of course, the Penthouse offer was no longer available.

But he said I could do the following week if I would settle for $400. OBC & I could actually pick the cabin.  I picked one right across from the suite lounge. The original offer was that they assigned the cabin to you.

I gladly took that offer.

SO.... my point is...if the offer you wanted is no longer available, ask the casino department if they have anything similar. The offer I took was NOT on my email offer.

Apples and oranges.

The capacity control is on the available cabins on a particular sailing, not Princess deciding they won't give you the Plus package they offered even when a cabin is available.

Granted this was before casino reservations got offshored, but I had an email offer for a free cruise plus Plus package.  The Plus package wasn't showing as included on Princess' end, so all I had to was forward the email to the agent and she was able to add it herself.

I assume the offshore agents either aren’t allowed to make changes like that without escalating or are afraid to be second-guessed or make a mistake and lose their jobs.

They are cutting back on the offers. we are just off the Crown Princess where I had 14,000 plus points and got a free balcony offer with $600 casino free play - no princess plus as I have usually had in the past.

I guess with the ships being more occupied the need for casino players is going down.

The Casino is no longer giving out PP. It will only given to the top three

highest gamblers per cruise. Least we know that up front now --------

What I don't like is us now having to fight for PP we know we have and

they saying we don't. On Enchanted now, had a paper and they still said didn't

have it. Well I went fighting, what help from a higher host on board, finally got

it few days later. Now she's checking on others I have and they say no.

She's printing out papers from them when they say I have it and taking on board

with me. See what they do then. Still fighting for one.

Miss the days when you got on board and just what you booked--no problem.

TIMES ARE CHANGING

Don't give up fighting because as said casino not giving PP anymore and e-mails and mail

gave them up already.

Princess is outsourcing everything and people on our cruises. The Loyalty person/Captain Circle

will only do Events now, sales dept. increase to 5 and each day one of them do loyalty.

Won't have a person you know.

Now Casino, Shops, Selling of cruises, different departs like Loyalty are all Outsourced.

If they are still looking into it, how is that the same as they aren't honoring it like the title of this thread says?

Also, most of the offers I get state the offer is subject to limited availability.

How do you find out how many casino princess players points you have?  I tried asking the casino cashier on the Crown and they sent out a "manager?" and then he went to the back room for a few minutes and came back and said my son had 0.62 and my youngest nephew had 1.3 or something like that but I don't think those were plus points, even though they've been playing for hours every night for the past 8 days sometimes twice a day.  Granted, their bets were small, between $10 - $50 on black jack and roulette, but how do you know if you earned enough for a free drink or something else?  My other nephew was able to get this current cruise we were on for $200 off per person and $100 OBC and he played only a few times, 4 years ago with very small bets, pre-covid.  The only thing that the manager said was that my youngest nephew could have a drink as a one time exception or something like that, but he is 19, so that was pointless.  My son received, I think, a "bounce back" offer on the last day of $150 OBC to be used within a few months, which is useless since we aren't going to plan another $12K+ (we stay in club class and up on 10+ day cruises) cruise just to use the minuscule OBC.  Plus he spent way less that the others and they didn't get anything.  How does this all work?  It doesn't make any sense.

The points appear on your profile on the slot machine when you check in.
