Continuous '$50 shore excursion discount' for everyone: Prices raised the full $50 now?

NCL fixed the excursion pricing.  Of course it was fixed by jacking up the prices more.  I don't think I will be booking anything with them after this crappy experience.  There's plenty of tours that are more reasonable and HAVE REVIEWS.

So, it is not just our cruise where there are always ZERO reviews for the excursions offered by NCL🤦‍♂️

NCL would need to hire someone to "sensor" all of the posts being made, which would NOT be cost-cutting for NCL.

LOL, I once did two cruise line excursions on Carnival, and wrote reviews for both. One was a glowing review, while the other totally panned the excursion. One got printed; the other one "did not meet their standards". I think you can probably guess which got printed, and which one did not.

The prices are ridiculous, the $50 credit only covers one person, so if you are booking for a family of 4 you are still paying $150 for the other 3 for a dumb walking tour to cite the cheapest example.

It beats paying $200 for a dumb walking tour.

You're partially correct.  A true marketing specialist will tell you the quickest way to make a sale is to convince you that you're getting something for free.

You mean like calling something "Free Excursions" when it is free for only a couple of token excursions?  😀

Pretty much so.

In fact that the 'hook' behind all the "Free At Sea" promos.

Also, the upgrade bid process.

On our itinerary, London (Southampton) to Reykjavik, there is not even the token free excursion.
