GalleryOne Ft Lauderdale???

Has anyone stayed at the GalleryOne in Ft Lauderdale lately?  Wondering if its an ok spot as I read some good and not so good reviews..thoughts??

If you do a search, it is recommended frequently. Haven't stayed there ourselves, but it is mentioned here a lot.

Great hotel!  It is right on the Intracoastal and there is a Water Taxi stop there.  Also, it is walking distance to Fort Lauderdale Beach and Galleria Mall (good shopping and upscale dining).

One of my favorite hotels!  Ride the water taxi if you have time.

There is a Publix pretty much across the street.

Hotel looks great but I can't find a menu for the restaurant, anybody have a copy of their menu?  We have a couple of fussy eaters in our group.

Its where we stay when in FLL. As previously said it is a stop for the water taxi. 3 minute walk to Galleria mall. Publix and Starbucks across the road. Several good restaurants and a Blue Martine bar at the entrance to the mall.

Get a water way facing room. Always fun to see the boats and super yachts going up and down especially on weekends when everyone is partying on their boats. 

The Hotel itself is a bit dated but not to the extent that it is a problem or will hamper your stay. If you are driving they only have valet parking available.
