Princess Prizes

I know no one can definitively answer this but I’m putting it out there any way. One of the included perks for our upcoming September cruise in thePremier package is Prizes. Yet, the website says the prizes are good through July 31st. Anybody care to speculate if the prizes will end or if the will be revamped beginning August 1st? I know we are the minority but we did win $500 of OBC last year on our Med. cruise

Apologies, a newbie here. Could someone explain to me how to participate in prizes? We have Plus package.

With Premier, each time you open your stateroom door you have a chance at a prize, from stateroom credit to Chef's Table to entries for a raffle (and sometimes "try again"). 🙂

You can also purchase entries I think for $10/day.  Looking at the odds it didn't seem like a very good bet for $10.  Not a bad bonus if the Premier package makes sense for your cruise overall, but I'd just ignore it being on the plus package.  With odds of 1:250 to win a prize worth $10 you'll do better to put that $10/day in a slot machine.

I found the breakdown of prizes/value/odds:

The ‘game’ /prizes is active only when the casino is open. When the casino is closed, your door will say ‘game is closed’ if you are participating in prizes.

I wonder if the prize can be changed to OBC.  My wife and I are not foodies.  I have the feeling one or both of us will win the Chef's table!

Apparently not. We have the same thoughts. That, and we don’t drink so quite a few things we wouldn’t want to win 😂

I think the only option is to decline the prize. It then goes back into the pot for others to win so to speak

someone correct me if I’ve misinterpreted the t&c’s please?

Slightly off topic, but not really. Traveling with 4 to a cabin. Can only 1 person upgrade to premier or does everyone have to?

The first two guests have to have the same package.
