We have booked the 17 day from Seattle since we are a 3-4 hour train ride away. The best thing is getting to Glacier Bay, Hubbard and College Fiord all in one trip. And who ever gets to go to Wrangell

I did not see this option or I would have booked this. Please don't tell my husband.

We did get to go to Wrangell years ago on a RCCL Alaska cruise. There was a very bad storm and instead of going to our scheduled port(don’t remember which one it was) he went into Wrangell. There is a very good dock and it was a lovely small Alaska town. Not commercial like the normal ports. People were very friendly and it was interesting to hear about living there. There was a Native Alaskan Historic Site within walking distance of the pier. The place to buy souvenirs was the local ships chandlery.

So glad I saw this thread.  Just booked!  We just got back from a 10 day Alaska on the Ruby. It will be our 5th trip to Alaska - 3rd time RT out of SF, so easy.

Hope you won't mind if as we get closer, I have a million questions. We are so excited. It has been over 52 years since I have been to San Francisco and I am so excited to see all of these new ports.

And there’s nothing like sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge!

Sure!  Looks like there is already a roll call started too.

Princess has 3 new long cruises to Alaska for 2025.

LA round trip

San Francisco round trip

Seattle round trip

I wonder if this is a test market?  Or are they trying to win back their seasoned cruisers that they have alienated.

Very popular

Very expensive
