Any recent Brilliance Cruisers to Alaska

Did you dock in town or the one where you had to take the shuttle?

We were on in May with stops in Sitka, Juneau, Skagway and Haines. Sitka was the only stop we had to shuttle, the rest were all right in town.

This link is usually very accurate for Alaska ports.  I didn't look at all weeks but looks like Brilliance is at AJ dock.

We have a private excursion that leaves at 2 from downtown. Do you think it would be enough time to catch it if we get off right at 130

Depends on where in Downtown. The shuttle drops off nearby the Goldbelt Tram station.

Got back on Aug 6th.

 

Sitka - docked and shuttle to town, as the dock is 6 or so miles north.

Juneau - docked and you can walk (1 mile or so) or shuttle to town.

Skagway - docked and easy walk to town,

Haines - docked and easy walk to town.

From what I remember, shuttle is not free and costs $5 pp for a day pass. Correct?

Shuttle last week was free.  We were on Spirit. Only tender port was Icy Point.

Off Brilliance last month. The walk in Juneau isn't bad if you walk fast. It was a bit dreary the day I was there so my feet were definitely wet afterwards. The shuttle had a huge line when I got off so if you can be down and ready when the open the gangway, you'll have a better chance.

Shuttle is free from the AJ dock. Maybe you're thinking of a town shuttle that goes other places besides the AJ dock and the in town docks?

We were on Radiance last week and the shuttle was free.  When we were there last year it was $5 though.
