Aqua class move up question

We did a Move Up on the Solstice this year to Aqua.  You get a different room probably right below the pool.  We didn’t hear a lot of noise but we went in February when most were not using the pool.  We ate at Blu most nights and enjoyed the food but frankly would not upgrade again.  It was under $100 per person with the ship half full so most places were fairly empty to begin with..

Please note that Celebrity web sites concerning the suites state that not all perks in each suite class may be available to move-ups. This is a vague statement via the use of the word “may” and failure to state what perks might not be available. As AQ on the Edge is all IV, there would really be little to gain by bidding up to AQ, other than AQ benefits. And as the move-up doesn’t seem to guarantee those, I wouldn’t bid on AQ without knowing what AQ perks (if any) would follow.

The upgrade is a change of room to a room in the class you are bidding on.  You will loose your existing room.    I always warn that you should expect the worst cabin in the new classification and if you get better it's a bonus.
