Annual travel insurance

I tried to do a quote for my husband 72 and me 65 with 1Cover. It’s saying that you can’t purchase an annual policy if you are over 65. Does anyone have any suggestions for annual policies for over 65?

I went with Qantas Travel Insurance (over 65 with medical conditions).

I go with NIB annual cover.  You could try Qantas also.

Only stipulation is that it must be Comprehensive cover for over a certain age.

I got mine with COTA. But I was 64 when taken out. Check the age  on their website. Was cheaper than my quote for my 6 week trip.

I went with Annual NIB at 74. Had to put in 2 claims for a cruise I did in September last year, one for a lost computer and one for medical for a fall I had on the ship. They were great dealing with the claims and they both went through without any issues. About to renew it again for another year.

I did a quote with Qantas and it came in as $2485 without pre-existing medical conditions.

My Westpac doesn’t cover one of my pre-existing conditions or domestic.

We have the NAB Visa Platinum debit card which comes with travel insurance, it costs $10 month, which we think cheap considering it covers travel insurance with an excess of $75 for domestic travel and $400 excess for international travel, they have also increased the age from76 to 81, so happy, which takes affect from November this year.
