This drive is so familiar at this point. After flying into FLL for Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady… it’s like the new Galveston to me. 😆 We are in the HOV lane cruising down 95. We just passed the Hollywood Blvd. exit.

Does anyone else ever wonder what Top Golf will look like in 20 years? Will we drive by them like old movie theaters and they will be all abandoned what what not? Will they be able to keep up with the times?!

PSA to others, and as always YMMV.  We took a Lyft from FLL to Holiday Inn bayfront in Miami back in 2022.  Upon landing via Alaska Airlines we gathered our bags to step out for our Lyft and we were at terminal One.  Unbeknowst to me, Lyft will only pick you up at terminal Four!!

 

We landed at 11:37 pm and had to lug our bags at break neck pace from 1 to 4 as our driver said after 10 minutes she would turn into a pumpkin.  *****!!  Been flying all day, step out to he humidity that only southern Floriday can provide @ almost midnight to receive the customer service reminiscent of Pretty Woman!!

 

We made it with 1 minute to spare and it only got better as driver was clueless and got lost near our hotel in downtown Miami but since I'd been there before and could see the neon Holiday Inn sign she was and Eff student in math and thought the closest point between 2 points is a zig zag!  

 

Anyway, point is depending on which gate the airline drops you at you might be in for a hike, whether you want to or not!!
