Early Dining Reservations??

We're about a month away from our first HAL cruise on the Rotterdam. Do we need to make reservations for early seating in the Main Dining Room?  Can we do this now or wait until we board? Would we do this online or with the phone app. Thanks for any suggestions.

We do that with our TA when we book the cruise, any time dinning or fixed, early or late , large table or dinning for two. You'll have to wait now until you're on board

It’s a shame your TA is not helpful 😔 They should be.

 

Fixed dining is probably booked up - early dining time is very popular but you can certainly ask on board.

 

There is usually a podium set up for dining reservations on embarkation day.

 

Otherwise you can use any time dining (2nd deck - lower level of dining room normally).  You might need a pager for the first night but you can ask for a reservation if it is not at peak time and the dining room manager/assistant manager may well be able to accommodate you in the Any Time Dining category.

I'm sorry your TA hasn't been more helpful. I hope you can get a new TA in the future.
