Are shore excursions more expensive when booked onboard?

I know some lines offer discounts for booking shore excursions early, but can't figure if that's the case on Princess.

Often, PCL Shore Excursions go up in price from first posting to sail date.  So, they can certainly be more expensive on the ship, but should be same as last posted price online.

OBC wasn't evenly distributed between DH and myself but had enough to book the excursion for my husband.  Once on board, I booked the excursion for me and it was $25 more to book on board.  I have noticed that some excursions do increase in price when it gets closer to the cruise date.

The "phabulous" coupons have a 10% off one excursion over $100 if booked on Embarkation Day. Of course, if one is Elite, there is already a 10% OBC kickback on excursions.

And of course the description of the Elite discount says "Discount is not combinable with any other shore excursion discount or offer."
