But you were on a Cunard ship, so you are allowed to pretend. I eat croissants without being French.

I learned to play bridge. (sort of) Is that British?

I wouldn't mind pretending.  Everyone was so friendly on the cruise.

I found the British to be very friendly. My limited experience with Europeans....just a lot of cultural differences with regards to personal space...the British were lovely. What's wrong with queuing? Love it.

And the accent 😍 👌

Refilled the mobile bar with absolute mango and lemonade and went back to the piano bar where I was spotted by a fellow cc'er.

Apologies but I can't remember names at this point, you will need to chime in or reintroduce yourself before the mobile bar comes out 🤣.

We had a nice chat about the vibe. We both agree the crowd isn't really here for the piano man. I think it's the demographic. By now if they aren't in the casino they are asleep 😴. This guy has potential and I'd like to see him on a Caribbean sailing.

Waiting on the next set to start now.

I eat a lot of French things, because, well, they are French.  Reminds me of the Great British Baking Show (alias Bake Off)  when Pru was sampling some patisserie and told Paul, "those French really know how to bake."  Paul's response:  "Yes, damn them."

Those go nicely together.  I'll request a slow jam. 🥰

It has gotten quiet.  Sounds like the slow jam is working.................you're welcome.

🤣  sorry had a bit too much to drink. Gets hard to keep a review going when my cognitive functions become compromised.

If your slow jams got played we missed them we got way too wrapped up in conversation.

Absolutely!! We had a wine journalist we met during this summer’s Crossing over for the lunch the week after we got back home. Homemade lasagna and Chianti on the menu.

I’m on my way @NE John and we can have a lasagna bake-off, but I’m sure your wife would win.  Cunard really did a miss on my Paella in December. I too wanted to go back and show them how do it!
