Rare Newcruiser215 Posted September 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) Looks like Royal is now offering day passes and cabanas for the new adults only beach. Edited September 14, 2023 by Newcruiser215 2
Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2023 Surprised the cabanas are so "economical". Compared to the Beach Club, these are deals. 😂 Really, they are. 3

If you remember, when Coco Beach club first opened, passes & cabanas were reasonably priced. Edited September 14, 2023 by Newcruiser215
Jerseygirl1416 Posted September 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2023 Nice! I’ve been looking forward to this. The beach club was nice but still has splashing screaming kids in the pool so this will check all options. When is your cruise?
Jerseygirl1416 Posted September 14, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2023 I’m sure prices will skyrocket once they start selling out.

Coco beach club was like $70 when it first opened. For our Icon cruise, it's currently $286.

Toddcan Posted September 14, 2023 #10 Share Posted September 14, 2023 Curious.. is the adult area access admission cost just to get you into an adult -only beach area, or does it have any nicer amenities like the beach club does?

MommaBear55 Posted September 14, 2023 #12 Share Posted September 14, 2023 I'm definitely old, I think of an adult area as quiet, won't be that way with a non stop DJ! Looking forward to the reports on actually how loud it's going to be.

ZoeyVictoria Posted September 14, 2023 #14 Share Posted September 14, 2023 That was a lot of words to describe loud music and bars 😂. I kept reading to see what else was offered… 2

The Grumpus Posted September 14, 2023 #16 Share Posted September 14, 2023 Reads like it will be a similar atmosphere to being around the oasis lagoon swim-up bar - a loud, partying raucous.

Most ship DJs pump up the volume with rap/hip-hop and EDM-crap you har 40times an hour on local FM. Or attempt to lure us into a Carib mood via Jimmy and Zack. I wish their playlist was more calypso jazz, soca, ska, or even junkanoo or rake-n-scrape. I'd even go for more latin jazz.

Very valid point. We had a DJ on our Wonder cruise by the pool deck and it was loud but she played a lot of different genres. Some oldies and some new music. Honestly, the volume paled in comparison to the loud kids.

I'm not looking forward to the DJ either, but I'll give a shot. If we like it, great. We don't, we know not to do it again.

As of last week, they had exactly one building closed in - the rest are still either partial concrete shells or just coming out of the ground, and the lagoon doesn't have a discernible shape yet. We are there again in three weeks, so we will see whether they have made any progress on the other buildings or the shoreline.
bob63005 Posted September 14, 2023 #23 Share Posted September 14, 2023 The limited space that "may" sell out interested me. Will book this and the beach club and cancel one after some reviews are posted.

Rare colesc15 Posted September 14, 2023 #25 Share Posted September 14, 2023 The new swim up bar and dj area looks awesome. An upgraded version of oasis lagoon I feel. Booked it on 3 cruises before the day pass increases like beach club did
