I know LOL I don’t ever sit still 😂

Well, I DID sit still for an entire 1/2 hour at the beach today!

Would love to meet you!  I’m not sure what I’m doing after dinner yet, but mostly chillin!

Eating at Hooked tonight, then most of the day in the casino tomorrow. Definitely have time to meet and say hi,

Overall, I liked Tsp Factory!  Tap is hard. Of the 4 main tap dancers one was EXTREMELY talented and a joy to watch.

HOWEVER I wanted to PLUCK OUT MY EYES when the contortionist came on.  AAAAAAGGGH!  I averted my eyes.  Not a fan of that.

Again too loud.  After this trip and my last on Carnival I’m convinced most sound engineers are 1/2 deaf.

The Filet was FANTASTIC and yes, I think better than Chops!  Perfectly medium rare.  Melt in Your mouth. Silly to put cheese on the top though cause it’s an Italian place.

The Carbonara was another story.  Too salty//cheesy for me.  Hard to get that dish right.

It’s nearly 1am!

Starting pouring rain as we all sat down for the Aqua show, Intense, but it was short lived

Intense was….too intense!  I loved the high diving and the synchronized swimming, the aerialists.

But if I thought the other shows were loud, Intense was ear-splitting,

I literally got the high decibel warning on my iPhone (see below). Royal really needs to consider the sound levels; I went by the Caribbean Promenade party and later Boleros and again, so loud.  I really need to find a pair of ear plugs if I go see the Effectors show.

If you are sensitive to sound, or just want to protect your hearing, I would bring ear plugs at least to Intense.

Also played some in the casino, Loved the Little Shop of Horrors machine.  Was not lucky.

I want to do the 9:30 AM dance fitness class tomorrow but there is a good chance I’m going to sleep in again!  Overall, another good day, but a long one!

Aloha. Have been blessed to sail Royal since the late 1970s and also recently on your ship. As an Italian I personally rarely have steak in an Italian Restaurant preferring Pasta, Veal, Seafood specialties. That said, the Italian preparation may include Olive oil and other seasonings and cheese. Certain cheeses are salty and I tend to go with and cook with Grana Padano. As for the Carbonara it is made with the pancetta included in the sauce not simply placed on top as in your picture. It similar to asking for a cheese danish and being served a danish with a slice of cheese on top lol.  Seems they got a little lazy and used the basic italian alfredo sauce and plopped the bacon which in the picture does not look like pancetta.  Nevertheless love your reports and pictures. Enjoy!

The mattresses on Wonder should be fine since it's still a pretty new ship. The concrete mattresses you've probably read about are usually found on older ships. I only had one really bad one, last year on Independence, but I was in 3 cabins on that ship in the span of 4 months and 2 of the mattresses were just fine. I wouldn't be too concerned.

You have been sleeping around a lot Mike!!!!🤣

I'm glad you got to experience the aqua show, even though the sound level pushed the limits for you. I think those shows are one of the things that set Oasis class ships apart. I don't recall having an issue with the volume in the past, but I really noticed it on Harmony last month.

Enjoy your day at sea. Hopefully the captain will keep you in the sunshine.

We have noticed it on every ship we have sailed on since the restart.  Although we has sat as far away from the sound source as we could in each venue, some we had to leave because of how loud it was.  I have heard the same complaint from many others.

Seriously, don’t their sound engineers have dB meters, to check levels?

Another great private excursion in St. Marten is Random Wind and Celine!  Done both and both amazing!

We've done Celine, those two are great people and we had a blast, worth every penny.  We were active on our roll call at the time and met and shared this excursion with 2 couples from England.

@BecciBoo I know from my years on Carnival that one ship chef is not like the other and the same dish can vary ship to ship, so I will!
