Yesterday our first priority when boarding at 10:30 AM was to check out the infinity pool, hot tub, and sundeck. Concierge, Stefan, is enforcing no one under 16 on Deck 17. We did enjoy the hot tubs too, but those don't make for such exciting photos.

For all yall that booked the expensive Haven rooms...this cheapskate had plenty of storage space in the bathroom of the entry level HE Haven room.

We had to go through the Pr1ma Theater to get to our shore excursion.

 

 

Apparently they were handing out stickers numbered for buses. We shot down the main Staircase to avoid the crowds, so never found the number. We're on bus 1, so I think we will remember. 

 

They call these mountains. I suppose for flatlands, but after you lived in Yellowstone for years...well it's gotta be pretty special to be a mountain.

As we drive by the police station, our guide discusses that we are at our first stop and he's very excited to show us. I wonder how Spanish jail is?

Uh oh! I'm in trouble! The lady (let's call her here wise, to be polite) just ughed at me being on my phone. The generation police are ever present! 

 

 

And now! The bus driver is talking on his phone. How dare he! Oooop, the guide is talking now. I want a refund haha

We wandered to the spring at the base of some convent. According to Google it is Sancturia de Nuestra Senora de la Fuensanta. No one else went as there was a steep five minute walk to the bottom. 

 

 

Also, do not eat olives off the tree. Oh my bitter! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Why are churches so dang gold inside? Give the money to the poor. Ugh!

I've decided I'm not a good European tourist. I don't care that much about old buildings, especially churches. 

 

 

My husband was smart and went wandering around the city instead.

Also why are all the alcoves gated off? Seems very unchristian to gate off everything from the poor....oh! Aha!

On our excursion last month, we got scolded for sitting in bus seats that weren’t our original seats.  We were made to get up and take the walk of shame to the back of the bus by the lavs so some Karen-types could have their original mid-bus seats.  Mind you…there were no personal items “saving” those seats.  Evidently when you sit in the back you can easily miss an announcement stating to take your original seats.  😂

 

Love the infinity pool shot.  How amazing that moment must have been.

We had a selection of tapas, including a €24 platter of not great jamon, excellent cheddar, walnuts, and olives. My husband was annoyed I didn't look at the price before ordering it. Oooooops!

Russian salad on a breadstick - without fish - surprise! There was fish.

Russian salad with fish. Nice big chunks of fish.

Actually I'm on the ship. Get your IT Department together, in all aspects. You suck! I'm still using local mobile data, but want to see my evening reservations. I'm unable to because NCL hired hacks to run and manage their IT Dept. And yes, the app should work even though the little exclamation point is there. That's beside the point. The app ought to have full functionality, WiFi or data!

 

 

Anyway, back to regular cruise posting!

I hate when people try to interrupt my fun by asking me to chase down the cruise management team, or find out how they handle specific dietary requirements, or how many hangars are in my closet, or to tell this or that waitperson or bartender "hi" from some random person the waitstaff forgot as soon as the next cruise started, etc.  My cruise....my time.

 

However...you're already in the Haven.  I'm sailing Prima in February.  No need to make a special trip or stop to ask any questions, just if you're passing the concierge desk, can you get a pic with the concierges, so I know what they look like?  And, find out if they're staying on through Feb '24?

 

Well hell....that sounds like a a big ask.  Nevermind! 😉

Once, just once, I have asked someone to say hello to a kind server. I had no expectation the server would remember me. I just wanted him to know a random passenger said hello.

 

But yea, hahahahahaha your story is great!! If you really would like me to get a photo with Stefan and Cesar I will. Just for you!
