Hannibal Smith Posted November 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2023 Hi - Just wanted to know from those who recently boarded Meraviglia in Brooklyn: 1. Heard earlier in the spring and summer that waits to board the ship were a few hours. Have the boarding wait times waned? What time would you recommend to avoid the waits/crowds? 2. Is there a separate check-in line for those in wheelchairs? (We will be wheeling our elderly parents onto the ship). Looking forward to boarding! Thanks for your responses. Rare Essiesmom Posted November 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2023 (edited) There was a long topic about this recently. It may be a few pages back. It’s on page four, last post on Tuesday. EM Edited November 12, 2023 by Essiesmom
Rare EllieinNJ Posted November 12, 2023 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2023 We got to the port around 11:30. Took us about 45 minutes to board the ship I did see a handicap line though.

Rare JamieLogical Posted November 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 13, 2023 I boarded in September and October and both were super quick. No real "line" for security, just wending your way through the rat maze ropes, but by the time you got through those, maybe 3-5 people ahead of you to show passport and go through the x-ray/metal detectors. The check-in line had a bit of a wait on my first sailing, but moved quickly... no more than 10 minutes or so. On my second sailing, I was Diamond and there was literally no one ahead of me in the Diamond/Aurea line, so I had no wait at all. On the first sailing, boarding had already started by the time I checked in so I walked right on. The second time, I got there before boarding started, but got to sit in the Priority Boarding area because I was Diamond and got on the ship right after they boarded the people who needed assistance/were in wheelchairs.
