I suspect if the pool is not covered, there has to be a life guard there.

A couple of kids did go in a little later, but the pools are unheated. Great fun with all the sloshing water, but too cold for me with the weather conditions

In cool cloudy Cork today.

There's a big match final this afternoon so lots of excitement in town and pubs 

 

 Titantic Museum , note the ticket prices and menu for third class passengers

We watched the Cork v Co Claire hurling final. First time I've watched this sport.  Very big in Ireland, kinda like a cross between hockey and tennis with  both a goal net like football (soccer) and a crossbar and posts like rugby

our sea day yesterday was cloudy and grey. Great display of cakes at the lunch Windjammer. In fact the food on board has IMO been excellent

Visited our favourite town in France today, Honfleur.

Just a short drive from Le Havre. Would recommend, great restaurants 👌

Home now, off the ship at 0735,  caught the 8.15 train.  

 

Bon Voyage to everyone on the next segment and the full World Cruise. Please keep Pats World Cruise blog going. I'll enjoy reading about all your amazing ports to come, and wishing I was still on board. 

The crew , the food and the entertainment were excellent and the  different ports great
