How do you make your topic title in bold?

It is automatic, as you will notice the title of this thread is Bold.  EM

In lists unread posts will have bold titles. Once read they revert to regular text.

At first, a new thread you have started in the list of threads on a forum will not be bold to you. This is because you just read the thread when you posted it. All the other members browsing a forum see titles in bold if they have not read any of the threads previously. Once they read a thread, the title will not be bold for them too. When a new reply is posted in the thread, the thread title will then be bold for you as well as any other member that has read the thread previously.

 

Since you have used the Follow feature on this thread, you should have received notifications of the new replies here. That way you do not have to go trying to find a thread you started just to see if the title is bold again because it has a new reply or replies. You just go directly to your thread by clicking the notification.
