When to get to Canada Place cruise terminal

If you have no reason to be on the ship early and are able bodied, drop off you bags at 9:30 am, take the time to walk around downtown Vancouver/have lunch, and come back at 1:00 pm.  Check-in opens at 10:00 am and it's a zoo.  It's even worse when there's more than one ship in port.

In my one experience, it was still a zoo at 11:00.

We arrived early, went through the lines and then boarded after being placed in the Platinum section. We felt like we went through repetitive customs and ID Checks several times. I think it was the most convoluted boarding systems.

When sailing to Alaska you do go through U.S. immigration on boarding.

Both times we arrived around noon, after hotel check out.  There were long lines and walking to get there earlier. We got through quite quickly by going at noon.  In time for MDR lunch.

I swear that we did that about 3 times. The lines were long but moved quickly. We were constantly showing our passports and medallions.
